Modern Love Labelnight: Andy Stott + Miles + Millie&Andrea

Er is Andy Stott, die pas met een waardige opvolger kwam voor zijn fenomenale album LuxuryProblems, het al even indrukwekkende Faith in Strangers. Voor Faith in Strangers verzamelde hij instrumentale stukken, field recordings en vocals, en geeft koude machinale klanken een vertrouwd en menselijk geluid. Dan is er Miles Whittaker, de helft van het gevierde duo Demdike Stare, die zich met zijn soloproject meer in de richting van noisy miminal techno begeeft. En als kers op de taart is er Millie & Andrea. Onder die gender-bending aliassen brachten Andy en Miles Drop The Vowels uit. The best of both worlds, wat resulteert in donkere en opwindende dub-technotrip.
