In time code matter II sound waves are travelling through 12 sheets of solid steel. Visitors approach the objects and find out how to relate to them, while energy levels rise and drop. Sound artists Christoph De Boeck and Yves De Mey stress the materialisation of sound in a context that is both intimate and monumental. In this production they use resonance to create a strong physical and emotional impact on the audience. The stage set consists of an installation of twelve solid steel plates hovering in mid-air. These sheets of steel effectively replace the loudspeaker system. This gigantic resonating device is controlled from the performers' laptops by 12.1 surround audio software.

In time code matter II you see what you hear and you feel what you see.
