The magic of animal signals
The magic of animal signals
Jelle Van Zweden
How do animals communicate? Which kind of senses do they use? What are they telling each other? How does noise affect their signals? And how do they know that they’re telling the truth? The world of animals is filled with examples of communication, sometimes very elaborate and sophisticated. In this lecture Jelle will dive into the world of visual stimuli, frequency shifts and odour bouquets to try and answer some of these questions.
