For years, Sophia New & Daniel Belasco Rogers (plan b) have been registering every step they take through simple gps technology. On the basis of all those routes, they try to draw their life

In a poetic lecture, the artists reflect on their own gps practice and their experiences with the people of Leuven who temporarely registered their routes for the Crossing Paths project. Surely, technology makes it easier to chart our lives. But does that mean we experience time, space and movement in different ways?

plan b is interested in personal data, such als gps tracks, sms traffic or mood reports. Their work is more about self-examination than about control or monitoring. In this dry accumulation of data, they find the entire life, with its beautiful and less charming sides.
