The Field + Koreless + Moodprint

The Field is the solo project of Swedish producer Axel Willner. Cupid’s Head (Kompakt) is his fourth album, and as the black, minimal cover suggests, it is a lot darker and more immersive than its more beat-oriented predecessors. Like few others, The Field knows how to captivate the listener with subtle variations and mesmerizing build-up. Not so much dance music as a transcendental experience.

‘Less is more’ also applies to Yugen (Young Turks), the first EP by British prodigy Lewis Roberts aka Koreless. In his powerful live shows, he turns his soulful electronica into a very danceable sound in the line of SBTRKT.
