The Field + Koreless + Moodprint

The Field is het soloproject van de Zweedse producer Axel Willner. Cupid’s Head (Kompakt) is het vierde album in een reeks, en zoals de hoes het al voorspelt is het een pak donkerder en meeslepender dan de voorgaande. The Field weet als geen ander met de meest subtiele variaties een spanning op de bouwen en de luisteraar in bedwang te houden. Geen dansmuziek, eerder een transcendentale ervaring.

'Less is more' geldt ook op Yugen (Young Turks), de EP van de jonge Brit Lewis Roberts aka Koreless. Live mengt hij zijn soulvolle elektronica tot een dansbare hap in de lijn van SBTRKT.
