Wim Janssen graduated last year at Sint-Lukas Brussels, with an intriguing construction of wood, pulleys, cameras and wheels. In this work, he uses the technology behind the virtual camera in videogames to turn it into an instrument you can control in the real world. Through ingenious use of blue screen techniques, diverse worlds and media blend. A videogame soldier is taken from his surroundings and put in reality. The 'virtual' camera follows him, putting the character in the centre.
