Elsewheres: On Gliese 667 Cc (2014)
Elsewheres is a project about the possibility of alien worlds. The artists investigate whether we are living in the only possible option, or if the experience of causality, time and agency in our world is just a fluke among all the universes possible. They created a set of possible universes and made simulation environments of each of them to reflect on and test them. Then they designed objects that could exist in other universes.
Sascha Pohflepp is interested in science and how it shapes our world through myths and realities.
Chris Woebken is a designer using so- called ‘futuring practices’ with the goal of creating props, narratives and visualizations that investigate the impact and the social potential of technology.
