GAS is the legendary project of the very influential electronic music artist Wolfgang Voigt. With 4 albums, released between 1996 and 2000, Voigt created a new, previously unheard musical aesthetic: sounds inspired by German romantic music interwoven into fluid, ephemeral structures that evoke transient spaces. Distant beats and
drones linger in this deep, dark and narcotic music.

Voigt will present GAS as an audiovisual performance created in collaboration with video artist Petra Hollenbach. GAS live will take the audience on a metaphysical and hypnotic journey through the german forest and its ambivalent mythology. This concert is one of very few live appearances.
