A part of the parquet floor of a lost private apartment was removed and displaced to be precisely reconstructed in the exhibition. The blueprint of a home and a gallery overlaps, creating a sculptural space that has the imprints of micro-histories.

The floor becomes a very slowly formed photogram of the lives of its inhabitants - stains of a flood in the kitchen, a discolouration where the furniture use to stand, a chipped edge of the threshold… This image is now framed by the architecture of the gallery.
