Icelandic Valgeir Sigurðsson worked as a producer for Björk and Bonnie Prince Billy and founded the influential record label Bedroom Community, home to Ben Frost, Nico Muhly and Sam Amidon. Next to that, he is also a composer for dance performances, releasing his own material. His latest exploit is third solo album Architecture of Loss. Aided by fantastic musicians like Nico Muhly, Nadia Sirota and Shazad Ismally, he again finds a perfect compromise between electronics, ambient and contemporary classical music. Live, Valgeir plays together with Nadia Sirota and Liam Byrne.
